The Independent Republic of Endor (French: La' 'Republique Independente d'Endor), is a country in EndorCraft. It is a federal directorial republic consisting of 10 regions (Departments), with 'Asrad ' as the capital city and seat of of the house of parliament. Situated South-West of the Imperial Capital, the Republic bords *** its most important trade partner to the West, *** to the North-West and *** to the North.

The Establishment of the Endorian Republic is traditionally dated on the 12th of December 155 ADE, which is celebrated anually as 'Liberation Day '.

Originally devided into 18 regions, a major land-reform reduced them to 9 by merging the departments and by designating the largest city of a pair as its capital. However, the 18 original townships maintain a high level of independence, notably in politics where each is granted a seat the Lower House of parliment. In the event of war or other important national matters, pairs of cities would be represented by a 'governor'. (There effectivly are 9 governors in the Republic).
